Get ready to update your style CV, ladies! What you wear to work is probably what you are actually wearing most of your waking hours. Research has shown that the better and therefore more professional you look in the office the more likely you are to get promoted and to secure a pay rise. So follow my top tricks for looking good all working day long!

1. The best go-to brands for work wear are often those that have tailoring as a high priority. Stella McCartney is a good choice for elegant, feminine and yet still smart investment pieces. I love these slim studded trousers. The cut is perfect and uber flattering.

2. Make sure you look polished by making time for regular beauty appointments so that you can cut down on getting ready time in the morning. A great hairdresser and a fortnightly manicure and pedicure will keep you looking the business.
